REFLECTIONS ON THE LIVING SEA
The unique centerpiece of the Festival is a new film by Greg MacGillivray,
exclusively edited from his Academy Award nominated IMAX Theatre film,
“The Living Sea,” celebrating the world ocean -- its beauty, diversity and
importance to life on earth.
“Reflections on The Living Sea” will be shown in the concerts, each time
with a new score by one of three highly acclaimed composers, specially
commissioned by the Festival: Paul Chihara, Sharon Farber and
Pamela Madsen. Music will be performed by Festival musicians.
